★目黒川沿いの満開のさくらをさくらの名所中目黒で鑑賞いたしました★

最近東京では、春を通り越して、初夏がきたのではと思うような陽気の日続いておりますが、皆様の地域では如何でございますか？

この陽気の為、例年よりも約1週間も早く桜の開花宣言が出され、あれよあれよという内に桜が満開になってしまいました。例年だと桜が満開になるのは4月上旬ごろなのですが、今年は3月の下旬に満開になってしまったので、桜がいつまで楽しめるかが心配なところでございますが・・・

先日桜の満開の情報を得まして、早速中目黒の目黒川沿いに足を運んでみました。中目黒と言えば、昨年のクリスマスの時期に「中目黒ジュエルドーム2017 (NAKAMEGURO JEWEL DOME 2017)」というイベントを拝見するためにそちらにお邪魔いたしましたが、「中目黒駅」までは、当ホテルの最寄り駅でございます「祐天寺駅」から東急東横線で1駅、約2分でございます。

　

中目黒駅に到着いたしますと、駅から目黒川方面へ続く道路では、平日の昼間にもかかわらず花見の観客ですでにあふれかえっていましたが、人の間をぬうように目黒川沿いの美しい桜を堪能させていただきました。川沿いに続く桃色の桜のアーチが大変印象的で、混み合っている橋の上からその様子を写真におさめるのはちょっと大変でした。

　

中目黒ジュエルドーム2017の時は、110本の桜の木に約50万球のLEDがとりつけられていて、夜、水面に光が反射して、イベントのタイトル通り、宝石のドームのように見えるのがなんとも美しかったのですが、今回は無数の提灯が桜のアーチを照らし、夜桜見物をロマンティックに演出してくれるのではないでしょうか？

　

中目黒の目黒川沿いは、東京のお花見スポットランキングでNo.1だそうで、今の時期朝や午後からの情報番組などでも良くとりあげられております。川沿いのおしゃれなカフェやレストランも充実しており、お茶やお食事をしながら桜をたのしむこともできますよ。

"Cherry blossoms in full bloom along the Meguro Rive ~ In Nakameguro"

Recently here in Tokyo, warm days are continuing as if early summer has surpassed spring. The declaration of the cherry blossoms blooming was issued about one week before usual and they were at full bloom just after that. The cherry blossoms are usually at full bloom at the beginning of April. However, since they were at full bloom at the end of March this year, I am worried about how long the cherry blossoms will continue.

Since I got the information that the cherry blossoms were at full bloom along the Meguro River in Nakameguro, I went there to enjoy them since last Christmas time for the event of NAKAMEGURO JEWEL DOME 2017. Nakameguro Station is just one stop from Yutenji Station which is very close to our hotel by Tokyu Toyoko Line. It takes about two minutes by train.

When I arrived at the Nakameguro Station, it was so crowded around the station and lots of people were walking towards the Meguro River. I was very impressed to see the branches of the beautiful cherry blossom trees spreading across the river from the bridge although it was very difficult to take pictures of them due to the fact that there were so many people.

When I joined the NAKAMEGURO JEWEL DOME 2017, I enjoyed seeing the dome with the illumination (there were 500,000 bulbs put on 110 cherry trees along the Meguro River ) like lit up jewels. This time, lots of lanterns put on the trees will make cherry blossom night viewing romantic.

Along the Meguro River in Nakameguro seems to be one of the top cherry blossom viewing spots in Tokyo and TV programs are showing cherry blossoms in Nakameguro a lot this time. Since there are lots of fancy tea shops and restaurants along the river, we can enjoy them while having some drink or meal. When you have a chance, why don't you visit Nakameguro to enjoy the beautiful cherry blossoms both day and at night.
